Whether you're going paddling to spend an afternoon on the local lakes, going out to fish, or going on an extended trip kayaks are a great way to enjoy the water. This two day class will teach you how to paddle and maneuver a kayak, on water rescues and water safety skills. By the end you'll be able to control a boat with confidence and enjoy the waters of Madison and beyond!

Note: In case wind or water quality do not cooperate, we will use alternative backup locations. For courses at Esther Beach, backup locations are Olbrich Park or Rutabaga Paddlesports. For courses at Olbrich Park, backup locations are are Esther Beach or Rutabaga Paddlesports
